Examination Supervisor

The Invigilator plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of the examination process within the Continuing Studies and Corporate Training division. Under the supervision of the Program Administrator and with guidance from the External Exam and Program Assistant, the Invigilator is responsible for overseeing examinations in both individual and group settings.
Key Responsibilities- Uphold strict compliance with examination policies and procedures.
- Prepare examination locations by verifying that all necessary technology is functioning correctly.
- Organize and arrange examination materials and equipment.
- Assist candidates prior to the commencement of exams.
- Monitor attendance and maintain silence within the examination environment.
- Address student inquiries or direct them to an instructor when necessary.
- Manage any examination irregularities in line with established protocols, including monitoring, documenting, and reporting any breaches of academic integrity.
- Ensure that candidates do not take any examination materials or equipment from the venue without proper authorization.
- Facilitate a calm and orderly exit for students after the examination.
- Collect and organize completed examinations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
A minimum of one year of post-secondary education is preferred, along with one to two years of relevant experience. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality and security standards regarding examination materials.
Skills Required- Ability to work independently while adhering to guidelines and instructions.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in reading aloud with clarity and proper pronunciation.
- Legible handwriting and basic technical skills to troubleshoot minor computer issues are advantageous.
