Job Title: Driver Route Hybrid CDL-Med/Shred

Job Summary:

Stericycle is seeking a skilled Driver Route Hybrid CDL-Med/Shred to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for providing industry-leading levels of service to our clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs or medical waste removal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information or pick up and transport medical waste, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
  • Plan daily schedules based on customers' needs, reviewing daily paperwork and communicating with Transportation Managers/Supervisors or Dispatchers as needed.
  • Prepare and load trucks to service select accounts, ensuring enough supplies are added.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts, communicating any issues to Transportation Managers/Supervisors or Dispatchers for resolution.
  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip checks, and driver check-in on assigned trucks, reporting any maintenance problems to Transportation/Dispatchers.
  • Operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing the risk of injury and equipment damage.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service, ensuring accurate and complete paperwork is completed and returned to Transportation Supervisors or Dispatchers.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Medical Examiners Certification
