About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at VENTUS CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Assist medical examiners and other personnel as needed.
  • Help align pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and structures.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites as needed.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer with VENTUS CONSTRUCTION LTD., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment as required.
