Job Title: Team Supervisor - Residential Installations

Position Overview: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Team Supervisor will manage residential installation projects while fulfilling all responsibilities associated with a supervisory role. Close collaboration with the Operations Manager is crucial to meet and exceed performance expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Team Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance and site evaluations, ensuring a minimum of 2 quality checks and 1 site evaluation per month for each technician.
  • Monitor technician performance, providing monthly and quarterly coaching sessions, and implementing Performance Management plans as necessary.
  • Offer constructive feedback, establish performance objectives, and document all coaching interactions.
  • Facilitate staff and safety meetings as required.
  • Ensure the stability of local inventory and oversee vehicle inspections and maintenance.
  • Act as the secondary support for escalations and technical challenges.
  • Eligible for Bonus Program Incentive.

Technician Responsibilities:

  • Install interior and exterior coaxial outlets and lines, as well as cable, telephone, and high-speed internet equipment.
  • Perform upgrades, disconnections, and troubleshooting for cable, internet, and telephone services.
  • Travel to scheduled appointments, maintaining responsibility for assigned vehicle and tools.
  • Maintain necessary stock levels in the vehicle for all job requirements.
  • Adhere to Safe Job Procedures and ensure completion of weekly vehicle inspections.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Report to the Area Regional Manager; Area Technicians report directly to the Team Supervisor.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar supervisory role.
