Job Title: Team Lead - Residential Installations

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to oversee residential installations for Frontier Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Conduct Quality Assurance and Site Inspections:**
    • Conduct a minimum of 2 quality assurance inspections and 1 site inspection per month per technician to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • **Monitor Technician Productivity:**
    • Monitor individual technician productivity and provide monthly and quarterly coaching sessions to improve performance.
  • **Provide Feedback and Coaching:**
    • Provide feedback, set performance goals, and document all coaching sessions to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
  • **Conduct Staff and Safety Meetings:**
    • Conduct staff and safety meetings as required to ensure team members are aware of company policies and procedures.
  • **Inventory Management and Vehicle Maintenance:**
    • Ensure stability of local stock inventory and vehicle inspections/maintenance to ensure team members have the necessary resources to complete tasks.
  • **Technical Support:**
    • Serve as the second line of support for escalations and technical issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • **Bonus Program Eligibility:**
    • Eligible for Bonus Program Incentive to recognize outstanding performance.

Technician Responsibilities:

  • **Installation and Upgrade:**
    • Install interior and exterior coax outlets and lines, cable, telephone, and high-speed internet equipment.
  • **Troubleshooting and Disconnects:**
    • Perform upgrades, disconnects, and troubleshooting of cable, internet, and telephone products.
  • **Vehicle Operations:**
    • Drive to and from scheduled appointments, responsible for assigned vehicle and tools.
  • **Inventory Management:**
    • Maintain stock requirements in the vehicle for all job situations.
  • **Safety Procedures:**
    • Follow Safe Job Procedures and ensure completion of weekly vehicle inspections.

Reporting Relationships:

  • **Reporting Structure:**
    • Report to Area Regional Manager; Area Technicians report directly to the Team Lead.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • **Education:**
    • High School diploma or equivalent; Some Post-Secondary Education preferred.
  • **Experience:**
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • **Skills and Attributes:**
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and troubleshoot effectively.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
