Position Overview:

The Senior Compliance Accounting Analyst plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of purpose and value within TAL Life LTD. This position involves close collaboration with various teams to define and manage product offerings, ensuring that operational risk, regulatory compliance, and profitability are maintained across all products.

Under the guidance of the Financial Reporting Supervisor, the Senior Compliance Accounting Analyst will contribute to a global team focused on the preparation of financial statements and management reports for fund performance.

This role offers exposure to a diverse range of public and private funds, encompassing various strategies such as fixed income, equity, and alternatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and production of financial statements and management reports.
  • Create draft versions of financial documents using established templates and guidelines.
  • Develop and write new content as necessary.
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct validation checks, including variance analysis, to identify potential discrepancies.
  • Engage in projects aimed at optimizing processes for fund management.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field is required, along with relevant work experience. Experience in fund administration or fund accounting is considered an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and candidates must be fluently bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.

TAL Life LTD promotes a hybrid working environment, requiring three days in-office attendance per week. Proficiency in French is mandatory for all positions in Quebec, with working proficiency in English necessary to serve clients globally.
