FNX-INNOV is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Inspector to join our team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by overseeing various aspects of the work process.
- Responsibilities:
- Monitor the installation of electrical and civil equipment within buildings, adhering to project requirements and established surveillance programs.
- Verify that contractors' work aligns with contractual plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with company regulations and industry standards.
- Actively participate in site meetings, providing valuable feedback on meeting reports and contributing to effective communication between the project engineer and contractors.
- Maintain meticulous records of quality, environmental, health, and safety documentation, accurately measuring executed work and tracking quantities.
- Identify and document non-conformities, preparing detailed site memos for resolution.
- Collaborate with the project engineer to ensure contractors utilize specified products correctly throughout the construction process.
- Participate in final inspections of completed work, preparing comprehensive deficiency lists for follow-up action.
Requirements:
- A DEC in civil or electrical engineering technology or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction project surveillance.
- Strong proficiency in both spoken and written French.
- Possession of a valid ASP construction card.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
