The Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Construction Project team. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the project team in implementing the quality plan and construction execution plan.
  • Planning, preparing, and conducting daily inspections and testing of construction activities.
  • Preparing and submitting inspection reports to the responsible quality manager.
  • Identifying and validating non-conformities and corrective actions with the responsible quality manager.
  • Tracking and following up on actions and requests until resolution.
  • Reviewing quality documents from contractors and identifying the status of each.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing them with the responsible quality manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or DEC in engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality management system.
  • Experience on construction projects is an asset.
  • Certification in quality management and/or auditing is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
