Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Experimental Physical Chemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative and independent research at the highest international level, establishing an outstanding and externally well-funded research program, and teaching undergraduate and graduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in Experimental Physical Chemistry, with a focus on developing and applying new experimental techniques and methods.
- Establish and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on securing external funding and publishing research in top-ranked journals.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Physical Chemistry, with a focus on developing and delivering high-quality educational materials and assessments.
- Supervise and mentor graduate students, with a focus on providing guidance and support to help them achieve their research and career goals.
- Collaborate with other researchers and faculty members, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry or an allied field) by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter.
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching, with a focus on publishing research in top-ranked journals and developing high-quality educational materials.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaborating with other researchers and faculty members to achieve shared goals.
