Academic Researcher Position in Experimental Physical Chemistry

We are seeking a highly qualified and accomplished researcher to join our faculty as a Tenure-Stream Assistant Professor in Experimental Physical Chemistry. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a strong research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and contribute to the department's academic and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct innovative and independent research in Experimental Physical Chemistry, with a focus on advancing our understanding of chemical phenomena.
- Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses in Chemistry, with a focus on experimental techniques and physical chemistry principles.
- Contribute to the department's academic and administrative activities, including serving on committees and participating in departmental events.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in their research projects.
- PhD degree in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry or an allied field) by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter.
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching, with a strong publication record and a clear research vision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
- Ability to establish and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on securing external funding and collaborating with other researchers.
