Job Description:

As a Maintenance Worker III, your primary responsibility will be to perform skilled maintenance and repair functions on mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring both safety and operational efficiency. Your duties will encompass troubleshooting electronic components, overseeing HVAC systems, and coordinating maintenance activities with fellow staff members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education or relevant technical training.
  • Possession of a 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate or adherence to AHS standards.
  • Valid driver's license.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience in plant operations.
  • Experience in repairing mechanical equipment within a healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade certification in plumbing, electrical, or instrumentation fields.
  • 4th Class Power Engineering certificate.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare facility operations.
  • Skills in operating grounds maintenance equipment.
  • Understanding of infection control protocols.
