Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field, with a focus on child development.

Work Environment

Our center promotes a non-smoking atmosphere, ensuring a healthy space for both staff and children.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute educational programs that enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children through storytelling, music, and creative activities.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, trainees, and volunteers.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various forms of art and play.
  • Assist children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and personal care.
  • Prepare nutritious snacks and organize spaces for meals and rest.
  • Monitor children's progress and identify any potential learning or behavioral challenges, providing reports to parents and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to support children's needs.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment that promotes the well-being of all children.
  • Plan and facilitate activities for school-age children during before and after school care.
  • Oversee the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Supervision

Responsible for supervising 1 to 2 individuals.

Requirements
  • Must hold an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check.
