About the Role

Funtasy Education Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Helper to join our team. As a key member of our childcare program, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Activity Leadership: Plan and lead activities that promote learning, creativity, and socialization, including storytelling, singing, and educational outings.
  • Supply Management: Order and maintain necessary supplies and equipment to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Participate in staff meetings to discuss student progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure the physical environment is safe, secure, and conducive to learning, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Activity Planning: Organize and lead activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, ability to multitask
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
