About the Role

The Educational Equality Institute is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships to support our mission of empowering disadvantaged girls through education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Partnership Development: Conduct online and local research to identify potential partners, sponsors, and donors, and develop effective strategies to establish new relationships and grow existing ones.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with our team to create compelling communication materials for partnership outreach and manage and maintain the partnership database and documentation of all partnership activities.
  • Project Management: Take part in regular meetings with the team and contribute to the development of effective project plans and strategies to achieve our business growth objectives.
Requirements
  • Business Development Experience: Proven experience in business development, preferably in the non-profit sector, with a strong understanding of effective strategies, goal-setting, and project management.
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential partners and opportunities, and provide insightful recommendations to support business growth.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and cultures, and build effective relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with knowledge of Ukrainian/Norwegian a plus.
