About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at 963822 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Record Keeping

Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on maintenance activities, including production and other relevant data.

Team Supervision

Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Project Coordination

Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including the requisitioning of materials and equipment.

Staffing and Recruitment

Recruit, hire, and manage maintenance staff, ensuring that the team has the necessary skills and expertise to perform their duties.

Cost Estimation and Control

Estimate costs and materials required for maintenance activities, ensuring that budgets are managed effectively.

Health and Safety

Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations, minimizing risks to staff and the public.

Personnel Recommendations

Make recommendations on personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.

Materials and Equipment Management

Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as required, ensuring that the team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role.
