Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at 963822 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare production and other reports to track maintenance activities and identify areas for improvement

* Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards

* Coordinate and schedule activities to optimize maintenance efficiency and minimize downtime

* Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to build a skilled and dedicated team

* Estimate costs and materials for maintenance projects and ensure budget compliance

* Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment

* Recommend personnel actions to support team development and performance

* Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field

* Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and coordinate team activities

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve maintenance issues

* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
