We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Provider Relations Associate to join our team at Zurich Insurance Company. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our travel assistance services.
Key Responsibilities:- Open claims based on notifications received from clients for cost containment.
- Open cases in our Claims system, follow up with providers to update insurance information, and ensure providers file insurance bills with us to proceed with cost containment on outstanding charges.
- Diarize follow-up tasks to chase providers again if information doesn't come back within 30 days to determine status.
- Update clients accordingly, maintaining strict communication with Cover-More AU and WTP UK.
- Identify and resolve problems by referring to policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and quality of solutions.
- Provide regular progress updates to our clients on how we are achieving cost containment.
- Proven customer service experience, effectively managing inbound and outbound phone calls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including drafting emails and faxes.
- Proficient in managing emails, Word, Excel, and communicating via MS Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues efficiently.
- Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma.
- Experience in claims or claims administration (preferred).
- Proficient in a second language, particularly Spanish (preferred).
