About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TACO TIME. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation and service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Ensure that our food preparation and service staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Work with our purchasing team to estimate ingredient and supply needs, and manage our inventory to minimize waste and ensure we have the right products on hand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet our high quality standards, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage our budget and cost estimates to ensure we are operating within our means.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to help us make informed business decisions.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure that our staff are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant environment
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a team
