Job Summary

SHREEJI FOOD INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor - Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Direct and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet the highest quality control standards, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

Scheduling and Planning

Establish work schedules and plans to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.

Experience

Experience is an asset, but not required. Permanent position available, with a 30-40 hour workweek.

Language

Fluency in English is required.
