Position Overview

The Hospitality Supervisor for Ski Programs plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional in-lodge experience for guests participating in Heli-Ski adventures. This position serves as the primary contact for guests, fostering meaningful relationships and guiding the team to deliver unforgettable mountain experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the management team to align with the overall objectives of the hospitality and ski programs.
  • Act as the main host for guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Deliver a highly organized and professional hospitality experience during après ski, dining services, and the heli-ski program.
  • Train and oversee the service team to meet CMH standards.
  • Design and lead engaging activities for guests during downtime.
  • Communicate guest feedback and concerns to the management team promptly.
  • Follow up with any guests who may have experienced injuries to ensure their needs are met.
  • Participate in emergency response training and support as needed.
  • Assist with content creation for CMH's social media platforms.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Support the implementation of health and safety initiatives.
  • Contribute to sustainability efforts within the organization.
  • Provide assistance to guests and staff during area visits as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a dynamic hospitality setting.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and online communication tools.
  • Possession of a Class 4 Driver's License.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent specialized training in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience in the ski industry is an asset.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating a computer and standard office equipment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • May require occasional travel to various CMH locations and industry events.

Compensation and Benefits

A competitive hourly wage will be offered based on qualifications and experience, along with vacation pay. Additional benefits include health and dental coverage after a specified period, eligibility for a Group Savings Plan, paid personal/sick days, and opportunities for heli-hiking and heli-skiing as available.
