**Job Opportunity**

We are working with a major international agricultural trading house who are offering an exciting opportunity for a senior pulses trader to join their team in Canada.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage a self-sourced portfolio, expanding activities across a range of existing customers.
  • Regularly interact with customers to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Costing for any sales, factoring in expenses such as finance and logistics costs.
  • Analyze market relative data with a clear understanding.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers, such as food manufacturers and wholesalers, particularly in the US food market.

**Key Qualifications**

  • 7-10 years of merchandising experience with a deep understanding of pulses products, including peas, lentils, chickpeas, and plant proteins.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, segmentation, and pricing across a range of products.
  • Good understanding of marketing and product positioning to attain higher values for trades.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
