Senior Production Operations Director

As a Senior Production Operations Director at Bayer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of elite germplasm and traits along the Canola R&D pipeline. You will be responsible for leading complex R&D production operations, collaborating with partners to ensure site and business success. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the world of agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a culture dedicated to the highest level of Environmental Safety and Health, Regulatory, and Quality performance
  • Manage site financial performance, including executing capital and expense projects
  • Develop technical capabilities and infrastructure to support customer and product teams
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics needed to deliver site objectives reliably
  • Collaborate across networks on business, product, and customer strategies
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality seed and data while maintaining efficient operations
  • Create a culture that embraces inclusion and innovation
  • Inspire teams to develop and execute creative ideas
  • Foster collaboration and accountability within the teams
  • Serve as the primary liaison and Bayer representative within the community

Requirements:

  • BS in agriculture, engineering, supply chain management, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical and leadership experience
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Demonstrated experience in guiding teams, shaping value-creating systems, facilitating connection and collaboration, and coaching teams to enhance customer value
