Job Description

Program Coordinator

Common Compass is a registered charity dedicated to empowering youth, schools, and communities through social-emotional wellbeing and mental health programs. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with school stakeholders and program facilitators to schedule project milestones and track progress
  • Support the development of new program content and materials related to student, staff, and parent wellbeing and belonging
  • Take a leadership role in program evaluation initiatives
  • Support program fundraising efforts as needed
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the team based on changing priorities
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Child/Adolescent Mental Health (Social Work or Counseling/Clinical Psychology), or Education (OCT)
  • Registration in good standing with a professional regulated College in Ontario
  • Clear vulnerable sector check (or willingness to get one)
  • Demonstrated project/program management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with workshop/program design and development
  • Ability to follow and track program budgets
  • Experience or interest in program evaluation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and Zoom
  • Experience with project management and CRM software such as Asana and Insightly is an asset
  • General comfort with technology and open to using new approaches and applications
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and prioritize based on changing project and organizational needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with program outreach or sales
  • Strong public speaking and phone skills
  • Experience coordinating or supporting a diverse team
  • Demonstrated group/workshop facilitation or teaching experience with youth or young adults
