Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets;
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and new markets;
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, setting performance goals and providing guidance and feedback;
- Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in existing accounts;
- Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to drive product awareness and adoption;
- Monitor sales metrics and performance to track progress towards goals;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction;
- Ensure the CRM is used by all salespeople to monitor progress of sales opportunities and ongoing projects;
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors;
- Assist distributors and agents in building the Company's market share;
- Implement the Company's strategy of growing and maintaining geographical coverage;
- Control expenses pursuant to budget guidelines developed by the Company;
- Generate sales reports and forecasts as directed by the Company;
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints;
- Stay current on product and applications knowledge;
- Attend technical and sales training courses and industry tradeshows;
- Provide market feedback to the marketing department;
- Such other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
- 5+ years of experience in software sales, preferably in the hydrogeological or geological industries;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies;
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Goal-oriented with a focus on driving results;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- High degree of independent judgment and integrity.
- Base salary depending on candidate experience, plus performance-based bonus plan up to 15% of base salary;
- 3 weeks paid vacation time per year;
