About the Role

The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our User Support Services team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a digitally enabled service strategy that focuses on the needs of our public servants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead service strategy to improve IT support services across government departments and healthcare organizations.
  • Shape the future of province-wide IT support services, including strategic oversight for desktop support and service desk operations.
  • Lead initiatives to transform users' IT support experiences, ensuring service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leaders across government to align IT support services with sector needs and strategic objectives.
  • Champion improvements for our service desk, enhancing responsiveness, user satisfaction, and support for all government employees.

About the Department

The Department of Cyber Security and Digital Solutions (CSDS) is the guiding force behind digital transformation within the Government of Nova Scotia. We support government departments and partners in their digital transformation journeys, navigating the complexities of digital transformation and modernizing outdated systems and ways of working.
