About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our System Integration Digital Health team as a Senior Strategist, Digital Governance Specialist. This role will play a critical part in shaping the digital health direction in Nova Scotia, working closely with the Director Digital Strategy & Governance.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Support the system-level governance of digital health in Nova Scotia, developing and maintaining standards, policies, and measures.
  • Lead the advisory on digital health direction, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including health authorities, long-term care, primary care, and more.
  • Provide strategic guidance and advice on digital health initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with the department's goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, plus several years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Significant experience managing engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of government, including the NS health system.
  • Excellent strategizing, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Superior project management and time management skills.
