We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Treasury and Payment Solutions team. As a key member of our Commercial Sales & Service group, you will be responsible for driving the achievement of cash management sales and service objectives and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- Address escalated issues related to client & relationship management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that builds trust through expertise, responsive service, and support.
- Develop and maintain long-term, profitable relationships and expand our share of wallet with a portfolio.
- Lead execution of Bank and third-party partners using approved processes that support the delivery of the desired customer experience.
- Gather and assess the competitive and market opportunities to identify strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats relative to cash management.
- Make recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
- Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
- May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.
- Develop and manage banking relationships and plans for prospective clients.
- Advise on sales strategy based on a deep understanding of the market, relevant industry verticals, market competitors, client needs, and business growth opportunities.
- Develop the business case by identifying needs, analyzing potential options, and assessing expected return on investment.
- Recommend business priorities, advise on resource requirements, and develop a roadmap for strategic execution.
- Help determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.
- Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.

- Act as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders.

- Analyze financial and related data to determine the client needs of the client for proper structuring of the Bank's products and services that meet client needs.
- Break down strategic problems, and analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and track performance and address any issues.
- Lead change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives.
- Collaborate across BMO to develop communications strategies and ensure consistency of messaging to positively influence or change behavior.
- Plan, execute, and fulfill cash management product solutions sales and services activities in alignment with standards.
- Provide product and process knowledge to stakeholders (e.g., product information, pricing, implementation timeframes, requirements, etc.).
- Identify risks and take appropriate actions to mitigate impacts and maintain operational integrity.
- Stay abreast of client needs, industry trends, and best practices, and the regulatory environment as it relates to the products and services provided.
- Operate at a group/enterprise-wide level and serve as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Apply expertise and think creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
- Implement changes in response to shifting trends.
- Broad work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salaried
The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
