Analytics Lead for Media Performance

We are seeking a talented analytics professional to join our dynamic team in support of a prestigious automotive client. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and French, possessing a solid background in analytics with experience in media, whether in agency, corporate, or media vendor settings. Familiarity with digital media concepts, including Search, Social, Video, and Display, is advantageous. A willingness to learn, coupled with clear and confident communication skills, is essential. We value innovative thinking and require a strong technical foundation in relational database management, data visualization, automation, and marketing technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver client presentations, comprehensive overviews, and tactical insights that detail media performance results to both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Develop, maintain, and update relational databases, dashboards, and automated reporting systems.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to ensure data verification, quality assurance, and completion requirements are fulfilled prior to reporting.
- Conduct in-depth campaign analyses, learn from tests, and provide insights for special projects.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for automation and process improvements to leadership.
- Provide training to both internal and external teams on dashboards and analytical tools.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on digital media campaigns, offering optimization recommendations by acting as a liaison between media planning, media buying, and other engaged agencies for data, analytics, and insights, including:
- Campaign analysis focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Media optimization strategies for Search, Social, Video, and Display.
- In-depth examinations of various media objectives.
- Establishing test and learn frameworks and analyzing outcomes.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
- At least 1 year of experience in leading and mentoring analysts.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of ownership and driving results.
- Experience in direct client interaction and managing client expectations.
- Proficient in at least one dashboarding solution (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Preferred knowledge of Hive and SQL.
- Intermediate proficiency in statistical modeling using Python or R.
- Comprehensive understanding of media planning and buying processes from pre-planning to post-analysis.
