Position Overview
Mediabistro is seeking a skilled analytics professional to join our dynamic team, supporting a prestigious automotive client. The ideal candidate should be bilingual in English and French, with a background in analytics, particularly within media in agency, corporate, or media vendor settings. Familiarity with digital media concepts, including Search, Social, Video, and Display, is advantageous. A proactive attitude towards learning and strong communication skills are essential. Candidates should possess a robust technical foundation in relational database management, data visualization, automation, and marketing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver client presentations, detailed overviews, and tactical points of view that articulate media performance outcomes to both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance relational databases, dashboards, and automated reporting systems.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to ensure all data verification, quality assurance, and completion criteria are satisfied prior to reporting.
- Conduct in-depth campaign analyses, test learnings, and special project assessments.
- Identify and propose opportunities for automation and process improvements to leadership teams.
- Facilitate training sessions for internal and external teams on dashboards and analytical tools.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on digital media campaigns, providing optimization recommendations by serving as a liaison between media planning, media buying, and other engaged agencies for data, analytics, and insights, including:
- Campaign performance analysis (Efficiency and Effectiveness).
- Media optimization strategies for Search, Social, Video, and Display.
- In-depth evaluations of various media objectives.
- Establishing Test & Learn frameworks and analyzing outcomes.
- Utilizing statistical models (e.g., time series, regression) for attribution analysis.
- Developing Media Mix Models.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
- At least 1 year of experience in leading and mentoring analysts.
- Proven project management and collaboration skills, with a track record of ownership and results-driven outcomes.
- Experience in direct client engagement and managing client expectations.
- Strong proficiency in at least one dashboarding solution (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Preferred knowledge of Hive and SQL.
- Intermediate understanding of statistical modeling using Python or R.
- Comprehensive knowledge of media planning and buying processes from pre-planning to post-analysis.
