Position Overview

CCFS Accounting Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage and maintain our financial records with precision and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and practices.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College or CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll by calculating and preparing cheques
  • Assess fixed assets and their depreciation
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Compile and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Complete tax returns efficiently
  • Prepare trial balances
  • Reconcile various accounts to ensure accuracy
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in QuickBooks
  • Skilled in MS Office applications
  • Experienced with Spreadsheet software
