At Getimployed, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Financial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, invoicing clients, and assisting with other administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare personal tax returns (T1's) during tax season, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Enter all bills and records related to various companies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Assist with payroll and HR-related issues, providing support to the office team.
  • Contribute to office management services, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Review corporate bookkeeping files prepared by bookkeepers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Management to facilitate company information derived from bookkeeping files.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting position, with a strong background in financial services and consulting.
  • Proven experience managing accounts payable and receivable, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software, including CaseWare, TaxCycle, and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and practices, with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and clients.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with a bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. However, we are willing to consider candidates with other degrees who can demonstrate the ability to work well with our team.

Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience.
