The Canadian Red Cross is a leading humanitarian organization that helps individuals and communities in Canada and around the world in times of need. We are seeking a Strategic Communications Manager to join our team in Montreal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated communications strategies to support the organization's strategic priorities
  • Lead the development of communication plans and materials, including social media, traditional media, and crisis communications
  • Provide strategic communications advice to senior leaders and teams
  • Manage and coordinate communications projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement
  • Monitor and analyze communications metrics to inform future strategies

Requirements:

  • University degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in communications, with a focus on strategic planning and implementation
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communications campaigns
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
