Your Opportunity:
Position Overview:
As a Healthcare Unit Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication among healthcare professionals, departments, patients, and their families, while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive patient information. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of administrative functions, including:
- Welcoming and directing visitors, patients, and healthcare staff.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Transcribing and processing physician directives.
- Coordinating the scheduling of patient tests and treatments.
Additionally, you will engage in a range of administrative tasks that support the overall operations of the unit.
Required Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification. Successful completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or a comparable training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Familiarity with Connect Care is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:As necessary.
