Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our esteemed Nursing Resource Team. This role is classified as Regular Part-time with a flexible schedule that includes Days, Nights, and Weekends.

Our mission is to expedite the recovery of individuals living with mental illness through innovative care, advocacy, research, and education. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the transformative impact we have on the lives of our clients.
Role Responsibilities
The RPN will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate nursing care tailored to the treatment and rehabilitation needs of our patients. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients' needs.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized nursing care plans.
- Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, including effective crisis management and emergency care.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Diploma Program in Practical Nursing.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Preferred experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Health Care Consent Act, and Substitute Decision Act.
- Willingness to complete Safety and Security in the Workplace Training.
- Valid driver's license, if necessary.
- Proficiency in English (level A-) is mandatory; bilingualism is an asset.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $35.36 to $37.05 per hour.
