Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily activities within the store, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Allocate tasks to sales personnel and manage the hiring and training processes for new employees.
  • Inventory Control: Responsible for ordering merchandise and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Sales Oversight: Authorize merchandise returns and monitor sales activities.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on sales performance, inventory management, and personnel issues.
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in transactions.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to enhance productivity.
Work Environment

The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure. Candidates should be prepared for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the expectation of standing for extended periods.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
