Job Description

As a key member of the Sun Life Financial team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client experiences. The Individual Insurance and Wealth business unit represents a significant portion of Sun Life's global revenue, and we are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced planning strategies to drive sales and utilization of Sun Life's solutions.
  • Partner with advisors and other experts to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Support advisors with solutions that drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Provide education and training to advisors and sales teams on advanced financial planning topics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure Sun Life remains a leader in the market.
  • Contribute to the development of effective processes and tools to support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of personal and corporate financial planning, including taxation, compensation arrangements, charitable wills and trusts, and business succession planning.
  • Excellent understanding of industry trends and their implications on achieving business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including facilitation, training, influencing, and presentation.
  • CPA, LL.B, M. Tax, or FCIA designation.
  • CFP, CLU, FEA, or TEP designation is an asset.
  • University degree or equivalent business experience.
  • 5 years of financial services experience.
