Purchasing Coordinator

Job Summary

Clark Ag Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Responsibilities

  • Procure and manage inventory, including creating and editing purchase orders, receiving and closing orders, and investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate logistics, including customs clearance and freight management.
  • Manage inventory levels, including creating and editing product code information in the MRP software, maintaining KIT bill of materials and costing, and reviewing obsolete and slow-moving reports.
  • Provide purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing MRP data and trends.
  • Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure project timelines, equipment quantities, and quality are maintained.
  • Oversee the Returns Material Authorization process and MSDS protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of/experience with parts reference sources and materials, such as manufacturer manuals.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications and MRP application systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Customer service skills.
