Work Setting

This position is within a metal products manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning machinery to eliminate excess welds, rust, scale, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and other metal fabrication professionals.
  • Utilize hand tools to grind or chip away excess metal from products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload materials from vehicles.
  • Support delivery drivers in loading and unloading tasks.
  • Ensure a tidy work environment.
  • Utilize forklifts or dollies for loading and unloading tasks.
Supervision

Work under the guidance of metal products machine operators.
