Job Title: Labourer - Metal Fabrication

RAYCO STEEL LTD. is seeking a reliable and skilled Labourer - Metal Fabrication to join our team. As a Labourer - Metal Fabrication, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting metal workers, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with dusty and hot conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
  • Clean work area.
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Own vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Hard hat.
  • Dependability.
  • Reliability.
  • Team player.
  • Resourcefulness.
Working Conditions

The work conditions are physically demanding, with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with dusty and hot conditions.
