Job Description for Labourer - Metal Fabrication

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Labourer - Metal Fabrication to join our team at RAYCO STEEL LTD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products surfaces.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
  • Clean work area.
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Work Environment:

Our work site environment is dusty, hot, and noisy.
