Job Title: Labourer - Metal Fabrication

RAYCO STEEL LTD. is seeking a skilled Labourer - Metal Fabrication to join our team. As a Labourer - Metal Fabrication, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting structural steel and platework fitters, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
  • Clean work area.
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a metal products manufacturing company.
  • Exposure to dust, heat, and noise.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check required.
Transportation/Travel Information:
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle required.
