Terrain Park Maintenance Specialist

Position Overview:
The Terrain Park Maintenance Specialist is an integral member of the Terrain Park team at Accoravillage. This role focuses on the consistent upkeep of park features through activities such as raking, shoveling, and testing, alongside the maintenance of terrain park barriers and informational signage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement daily opening and closing protocols.
- Ensure park features are maintained through regular raking, shoveling, and testing.
- Handle lifting, moving, or manipulating objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
- Engage in snowfarming practices.
- Document and complete daily safety inspections and observations.
- Maintain terrain park barriers and signage effectively.
- Manage skier and rider traffic in and around work zones and park features.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the Terrain Park Training Manual, industry best practices, and company policies.
- Safeguard the health and safety of oneself and others by following safe work practices and promptly reporting unsafe conditions.
- Respond to incidents in the Terrain Parks, assist Safety Operations with accident protocols, and complete related incident reports.
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and capable of skiing or snowboarding with heavy loads.
- Able to perform demanding physical tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Advanced skiing or snowboarding skills; experience in freestyle is advantageous.
- Background in the ski industry, customer service, or terrain park operations is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and a positive attitude.
- First aid certification is beneficial.
- Experience operating snowcats is a plus.

- Friendly and approachable personality; capable of maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
- Adept at skiing across diverse mountain terrains in various conditions and testing all Terrain Park features for safety across skill levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
