We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Ferrovial. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our road network.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on roads, highways, and other infrastructure assets, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, excavators, and cranes, to perform maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections of roads and infrastructure assets to identify potential maintenance needs and develop plans to address them.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum one year of experience in road maintenance or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, and will be exposed to noise, dust, and other hazards associated with road maintenance work.
The employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary to ensure a safe working environment.
