About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at SDH Stucco. As a Stucco Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure a smooth application of plaster.
  • Plaster Application: Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings.
  • Finishing Touches: Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Mixing and Application: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency and apply them to surfaces.
  • Ornamental Work: Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
  • Specialized Finishing: Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
  • Exterior Finishing: Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, as you will be working on your feet for extended periods and performing tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Setting: You will work in various locations, applying your skills to different projects.
Requirements
  • Education: You should have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: You should have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: You should be fluent in English.
  • Work Schedule: You will work 32 to 40 hours per week.
