About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at SDH Stucco. As a Stucco Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure a smooth application of plaster.
  • Plaster Application: Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings.
  • Finishing Touches: Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Material Mixing: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
  • Ornamental Work: Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
  • Specialized Finishing: Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
  • Exterior Finishing: Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, as you will be working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work Conditions: You will be working in a variety of locations, including various construction sites.
  • Repetitive Tasks: The role involves repetitive tasks, such as applying and smoothing plaster.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: You must have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: You must be fluent in English.
  • Work Schedule: You must be available to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
