Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of Beem Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the annual budget process and business plan process
  • Collaborate with other Finance and corporate teams to collect and synthesize budget data
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial reporting and analyses and provide recommendations
  • Conduct profitability analysis and monitor profitability on multiple dimensions of the business
  • Research and analyze financial data for regulatory or compliance reporting
  • Lead monthly financial reviews with department leaders
  • Monitor performance against budget and recommend actions to improve financial performance
  • Support financial KPIs and recommend performance metrics
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or CFA accreditation, or approaching completion
  • Years of experience in a similar role; experience in a credit union or financial institution is a strong asset
  • Solid experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
