Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to the organization, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of Beem Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the annual budget process and business plan process
  • Collaborate with other Finance and corporate teams to collect and synthesize budget data
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial reporting and analyses
  • Monitor profitability on multiple dimensions of the business
  • Research and analyze financial data for regulatory or compliance reporting
  • Lead monthly financial reviews with department leaders
  • Monitor performance against budget and recommend actions to improve financial performance
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or CFA accreditation, or approaching completion
  • Years of experience in a similar role; experience in a credit union or financial institution is a strong asset
  • Solid experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
