Job Description:

Job Title: Sales Director

Job Summary:

Lammle's Western Wear is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead our sales division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence:
    • Develop and implement business processes to improve operational efficiency
    • Collaborate with management to develop budgets and sales targets
    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance
  • People First:
    • Empower and develop direct reports to meet and exceed performance expectations
    • Train and coach staff to support succession planning and talent development
    • Foster a positive team environment that promotes employee engagement and retention
  • Merchant Mindset:
    • Develop and implement visual merchandising standards to enhance store appearance
    • Collaborate with the Director of Merchandise to communicate and support company promotions
    • Influence and support the creation and maintenance of a visual standard guidelines
  • Customer Focus:
    • Develop and maintain a customer feedback program to exceed customer expectations and loyalty
    • Partner with the corporate customer service specialist to ensure timely and effective complaint resolution
    • Create good rapport with customers to develop and maintain trustworthiness

Requirements:

  • University degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • 10+ years of experience in progressively senior roles within mid-sized retail organizations
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
