Bicycle Repair Shop Supervisor Job Description

Vélo iBike is seeking a skilled and experienced Bicycle Repair Shop Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our bicycle repair shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our shop runs efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train bicycle repair technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality repairs and maintenance.
  • Oversee the inventory management of parts and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary materials to complete repairs and meet customer demand.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve shop efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies and goals.
  • Ensure that all shop activities are conducted in a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bicycle repair shop or related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance procedures.
