Bicycle Repair Shop Supervisor Job Description

Vélo iBike is seeking a skilled and experienced Bicycle Repair Shop Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bicycle repair shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are equipped to provide top-notch repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of bicycle repair technicians and apprentices
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of bicycles, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard
  • Estimate costs and materials for repairs and maintenance
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the workplace
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in the hiring process
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
